| You found the Model Aviation Club at North Penn High School, from Lansdale PA, 19446. During the school year, the club will venture further into radio controlled, indoor electric foam aircraft, as well as the usual mischievous model airplane building we always do. About the Club |
Well, we survived another year of super fun building and flying RC planes! Life was super busy for us here at the high school, and it really picked up this spring. Students were building and flying their planes, and quads. If you've flown large or small planes before, you know how much fun it can be. We pride ourselves on fun and new adventures every year. For example, we flew our largest plane in club history, a 188" span glider!

The club was started in the fall of 2003 by a handful of students interested in aviation. The club formed to teach the fundamentals of aviation through radio controlled modeling, to promote an interest in aviation through group projects and activities, and to increase knowledge of physics and engineering through model building and flying. Since its inception, the club received start-up grants, as well as model aircraft donations from the local community, participated in elementary school outreach events, and has been recognized by the AMA for its efforts promoting youth in model aviation. |

Our annual Winter Blues Fun-Fly |
| We've tried our best to keep track of the cool things we've done over the years. Pardon the difference between the older stuff and the new methods of photo keeping. I'm just glad we have most of it! Our club has been running over over 20 years! That's amazing! |
Our Winter Blues Fun-Fly will be held on March 1st, 2025. It will take place, as usual, in our double gyms. And, we're selling food again this year, so bring your cash and plan on getting coffee and donuts, and then staying for lunch!
